Before our pickup service can take your car, you'll have to prepare your car for pickup. Follow these few steps to get the best pickup experience.
Deregistering your car
Before your car gets picked up make sure to deregister your car from official services. The truckdriver is not allowed to take the car until this is done.
Deregister via the ANTS website before pickup. Once complete you’ll receive an Accusé d’enregistrement (Déclaration de cession) — please email us a copy. Take a photo of the crossed-out carte grise before the car leaves. Licence plates stay on the car.

Factory reset your car
Make sure to reset your car to factory settings before pickup. Factory reseting your car removes all personal data and makes the car ready for a new owner.

What to leave in the car
When the truckdriver comes to collect your car, you must hand over two set of keys.
Before letting the truckdriver drive off with your car, please make sure you leave the following in your car:
- Crossed out registration paper
- Certificate of Conformity (COC)
- Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable (in the trunk)
- UMC charger 220V charger (in the trunk)
What not to do
- Leave invoices, contracts, or personal documents in the car
- Hand any paperwork to the driver — all contracts are handled digitally
- Leave tinted windows in the front — they must be removed
→ Not sure what these documents are?
You can't be present at pickup
Don't worry. Someone else can hand over the car on your behalf. Neighbours, friends, or a family member is perfectly fine. Make sure they have the keys and documents ready, and know not to hand any paperwork to the driver.
Our pickup staff runs on a regulated schedule. They cannot wait if no one is available at the agreed time. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible via phone or e-mail.
