Yes — we buy cars with damage
You do not need to repair anything before selling to us. We buy electric vehicles in the condition they are in, from nearly new to visibly worn. A damaged car is not a problem. An undisclosed damaged car is.
Every car we buy is inspected when it arrives in Denmark. Anything that was not declared is found at that point, which is the worst moment for everyone — so the whole process is built around telling us up front.
What counts as damage
If you are unsure whether something is worth mentioning, mention it. The list below covers what we are asked about most.
Paintwork and bodyworkScratches, stone chips, dents, rust, mismatched panels or any resprayed area.
GlassChips or cracks in the windscreen, side windows or rear screen. Include panoramic roofs.
Wheels and tyresKerbing on the rims, buckled wheels, and tyres near or below the legal tread limit.
InteriorTears, burns, stains, heavy wear on seats or trim, and anything that no longer works — a seat motor, a speaker, a window switch.
Screens and electronicsCommon on EVsCracked or delaminating centre screens, dead pixels, cameras or sensors that have stopped reporting.
Warning lights and fault messagesAnything currently showing on the dash, even if the car drives normally. Photograph the message.
Battery and chargingReduced range, a charging port that is damaged or intermittent, or any battery-related warning the car has raised.
Accident historyPrevious accident repairs, replaced panels, or an insurance write-off in the car's history — declare these even where the repair is invisible.
How to document it
For each separate damage, send us three things:
- A close-up, so we can judge the severity.
- A wide shot, so we can see where it sits on the car.
- Good light — soft daylight, never direct sun, which hides scratches and dents.
If you have had the damage quoted or partly repaired, send the quote or invoice too. It saves us estimating.

How damage affects your offer
Damage is priced in, not held against you. We factor the cost of putting it right into the offer and you keep the convenience of a single sale — no repair work, no haggling, no listing the car privately.
Because we resell across borders, cosmetic wear often costs you less than you would expect. It is usually worth sending photos and finding out rather than paying for a repair first.
Disclose everything up front
An offer is based on the condition you describe. If the inspection in Denmark turns up damage that was not declared, we may ask for part of the payment back or cancel the contract. Declaring it costs you nothing and keeps the sale clean.
Before you submit
- ✓ Walk the car in daylight and note every mark
- ✓ Close-up and wide shot of each damage
- ✓ Photograph any warning light on the dash
- ✓ Note tyre tread and any kerbed rims
- ✓ Mention previous accident repairs, even invisible ones
- ✓ Attach any repair quotes you already have
