Selling as a business works the same way as a private sale, with two additions: you prove the company exists, and you issue us an invoice. Everything else — the offer, the contract, payment before pickup — is unchanged.
What documents do you need?
France
An extrait Kbis, your official company registration document, plus an invoice addressed to EV-Remarketing stating the VAT status of the transaction.
Germany
A Gewerbeschein or Handelsregisterauszug, depending on how the business is registered, plus an invoice addressed to EV-Remarketing stating the VAT status of the transaction.
Everywhere else
The official business registration document from your country, plus an invoice addressed to EV-Remarketing stating the VAT status of the transaction.
Payment goes to the company account — the IBAN holder name must match the company issuing the invoice.
→ The standard documents every seller needs
VAT deductible or non-deductible?
The most important line on the invoice is the VAT article. We buy both VAT deductible and non-deductible cars, but the status has to be stated correctly — this is the most common reason a business sale stalls.
VAT deductibleThe VAT on the original purchase of the car was deducted by your business. The sale is subject to VAT and must be stated as such on the invoice.
VAT non-deductibleThe VAT on the original purchase was not deducted — common for passenger cars in France. The sale may fall under the margin scheme or be VAT-exempt, and this must be correctly stated on the invoice.
Not sure about your VAT status? Contact your accountant, or reach out to us at customerservice@ev-remarketing.com before you issue the invoice.
The VAT article is required
Stating the wrong article may delay or invalidate the transaction. We are a Danish company, so every purchase is a cross-border sale — the wording is not the same as a domestic one. If you are unsure which applies, consult your accountant before submitting.
Selling from France or Germany?
Both countries have their own paperwork and deregistration route. Start with the guide for your country.

Standard selling requirements
The same requirements apply to business sellers as to private sellers.
- The car must be at least 6 months old and have a minimum of 6,000 km on the odometer — an EU VAT rule, not our preference.
- All damage must be disclosed and photographed at submission.
- The car must be deregistered before pickup.
- Payment is transferred to your company IBAN before the car is collected.
In short
- Provide your business registration document — Kbis, Gewerbeschein, or local equivalent
- Issue an invoice to EV-Remarketing with the correct VAT article
- 6 months and 6,000 km minimum, damage disclosed, deregistered before pickup
