General photography tips
- Avoid direct sunlight — sun facing the camera overexposes the shot; sun behind it makes the car look unclear. Both make damage and condition harder to assess.
- Use a clean background — park away from clutter where possible.
- High resolution only — poor-quality images slow things down, as we may ask you to retake them.
- File formats accepted: JPG or PNG.
Required photos — full checklist
Work through these one by one. A few are only relevant to certain cars — those are marked.
- Serial number (VIN)
- Critical for confirming the exact make, model, and year. Make sure this is especially clear and legible.
- Odometer (kilometre counter)
- Confirms the mileage — a major factor in the offer price.
- Software page Tesla only
- Take a screenshot of the software tab showing the model, VIN number, and mileage.
- Charging port (no cable)
- A photo of the empty charging port helps assess its condition and compatibility.
- Charging cables
- Include all cables that come with the car.
- Tow hitch If applicable
- A valuable feature — make sure it's clearly visible.
- Sunroof If applicable
- Include a photo. It can positively affect your offer.
- 6 exterior photos
- Cover all angles for a full overview of condition. Include the licence plate in at least one shot. Suggested angles: front, rear, driver side, passenger side, front 3/4, rear 3/4.
- Steering wheel and display
- Confirms the car's features and interior condition.
- Front seats
- Shows wear on the most-used part of the interior.
- Back seats
- Helps evaluate overall interior condition.
- Trunk
- Shows the condition of the trunk and any storage features.
- Door handle
- An often-overlooked detail that reveals usage and care.
- Service book All brands except Tesla
- A photo of the service book stamps and the warranty proof on page 1.

Damage photos — if applicable
If your car has any damage, document it clearly. For each one, provide a close-up shot, a wide shot showing where it sits on the car, and photos taken in good lighting (no direct sunlight).
Any undeclared damage is found when the car is inspected in Denmark — so disclosing everything up front keeps your offer accurate and your sale moving without a repayment request later.
