Before the driver arrives
- Deregister the car with your local authority — the driver cannot take it until this is done.
- Reset the car to factory settings and disconnect your account (Tesla: disconnect your Tesla account).
- Remove the front-window tint if fitted, and remove your licence plates where required by your country.

What to hand over and leave
- Two sets of keys
- France — crossed-out registration paper / carte grise
- Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg — parts 1 and 2 of the registration paper
- Certificate of Conformity (COC)
- Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable (in the trunk)
- UMC charger / 220V charger (in the trunk)
- Leave invoices, contracts, or personal documents in the car
- Hand any paperwork to the driver — all contracts are handled digitally
→ Not sure what these documents are?
Paperwork is digital
There's no need to print or sign anything at the door. All agreements are completed online between you and EV-Remarketing — the driver only needs the keys, the documents left in the car, and the car itself.
- Deregistered, factory reset done, keys ready
- Registration papers, COC and charging cables left in the car
- No paperwork handed to the driver — everything is digital
